Aurora Minerals is a major diversified Western Australian minerals explorer. Our aim is to discover high-value mineral deposits in order to create wealth for our shareholders.
The Company is currently focussed on projects located in the mineral-rich state of Western Australia which are prospective for manganese, copper-lead-zinc, gold, nickel, PGE and iron ore. Consistent with our exploration philosophy we have secured a very strong tenement position with approximately 7,000km2 of granted exploration tenure to increase the chances of commercial discoveries. We are well funded and have a well equipped and techically strong exploration and logistics team.
To assist in reducing risk, the Company has a preference for projects with known indications of mineralisation. Following data review projects are ranked. Those selected for the Company’s exploration portfolio are:
- assigned for direct exploration by Aurora;
- offered for joint venture;
- or considered for spin-off into an IPO, with Aurora retaining equity in the new entity;
Tenements which are not considered to be within the Company’s requirements or funding capabilities will be relinquished.
